As pet parents, we are often faced with pet accident cleanup and need to find the best products possible to eliminate pet stains and pet odors from our homes. After fighting with several hand steam cleaners that got clogged with cat hair or were awkward to use, I tried a new method that worked well and with far less effort. Yet it is the love and affection that they return to us that makes all the problems seem so little. You may be able to remove the odors in the spots that your cat urinated in but it’s just a matter of time before your cat urinates in another area then the cycle is starting all over again. If your cat experiences symptoms of furballs, put a small quantity of petroleum jelly on his or her paws daily for about three days. Maintain your cat’s weight. That means even if you clean a large area of your rug or furniture with cat urine odor removers you could still miss the stain entirely and be left with the lingering odor of cat urine. There are plenty of tales regarding cat urine stains that end with the removal and disposal of furniture, carpeting and even floorboards. While having your cat vaccinated is essential, this will do nothing to prevent being run over by a car or attacked by a raccoon.
